2008 Boo At The Cape May County Zoo
Freeholder Director Daniel Beyel and the Board of Chosen Freeholders hosted the Boo at the Zoo event at the Cape May County Park and Zoo on Saturday, October 18, 2008. This free annual event included games, prizes, crafts and even a scavenger hunt. Several hundred participated in the Halloween costume contest sponsored by Aramark that started and ended in front of the Ark in the Park gift shop and included a parade through the zoo. Prizes were awarded to first, second and third place winners in categories ranging from infants and toddlers to groups. Also, popular with the visitors, was a live creepy creature animal show. The Cape May County Zoo is located at 707 Route 9 North in Cape May Court House. The free Zoo is open, weather permitting, 364 days a year – closed on Christmas Day.
