Advisory Commission on the Status of Women
On February 24, 2009 the Board of Chosen Freeholders passed a resolution designating the week of March 22 to 28, 2009 as Women's History Week in Cape May County to make citizens better aware of the numerous social and economic contributions and accomplishments of American women throughout the growth of our nation. The Board of Chosen Freeholders extended its appreciation to those women who unselfishly gave and continue to give of themselves to strengthen our great nation and there will be a conference held on March 28, 2009 designed to give knowledge and information to the women of this county titled “Surviving 2009…Stay Informed.”
