Cape May County Autism Resolution
April is National Autism Awareness Month, celebrated worldwide by families affected by autism, the fastest growing developmental disability, affecting social interaction, communication, and behavior. On April 7th 2009 the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders passed Resolution No. 248-09 supporting April, 2009 as National Autism Awareness Month.

On hand to receive a plaque from the board was Keith Stankiewicz and wife, Francine Palumbo Stankiewicz of Dennis Township, a member of FACES(Families For Autistic Children Education and Support) and son K C Stankiewicz along with his brother Dylan. Kristi Gentek from Cape May County Technical High School and Freeholder Gerald M. Thornton made the presentation.
