Crocodiles are made up of alligators, caimans, gharials and crocodiles. Many can live to be over 50 years old and all have unlimited supply of replaceable teeth. Generally Crocodiles have slender V shaped snouts and one of their bottom teeth is visible and sticking up over the top teeth when the mouth is closed. Generally alligator and caimans have broader snouts and only their top teeth are visible when their mouth is close. Gharials have extremely slender snouts.
