We have 3 outside duck ponds were several differnet species of waterfowl can be viewed. Please note that the mallard ducks and the seagulls are not zoo animals.


Mute Swans

Mute Swans (Cygnus olor) recieves its name from be much less audiable then other swan species. They are introduced species into North America.


Egytian Goose

The Eygptian Goose (Alopochen aegyptiacus) is native to Southern Africa. They are extremely numerous and widespread in their range.

 



Ruddy Shell Duck

The Ruddy Shelducks native range stretches from Southeastern Europe to China.
