Have you adopted an animal from a county shelter?  Share your story and a photo with us.                         We learned about Buddy from friends in animal rescue and decided to bring him home for the holidays. This wonderful kitty will be spending a lifetime of holidays with us. We are so lucky. Simon Our beloved Mew died leaving her friend Abigail alone. We decided to adopt another cat to keep her company. A local shelter had some kittens in a foster home where we fell in love with handsome Lynx, the purringest kitten around.  He loves to be held, sleep on our shoulders and rough house with our son Mark and his friends. He's as much company for us as for Abigail. We'd be lost without him.   Diana DeNote
