Pathway to Diversity

Page Navigation

Our Pathway to Diversity begins with a quiet walk through the North American Forest where you may catch a gilmpse of our White Tail Deer. As you continue you will find yourself amoung the Asian collection: Snow Leopard, Spotted Leopard, and Red Pandas. Slowly the pathway opens up as you discover yourself in Africa.

Gazing over the grass lands, you may find yourself almost eye level with giraffes, be astonished at the call of the Ring Tailed Lemurs or amazed by the beauty of the Mountain Bongos.  Visit these animals and many more in our African Savanna.  This area consists of 57 acres, giving our residents ample room to roam and graze.
The Cape May County Zoo is proud to be participating in a project to re-establish a wild population of Mountain Bongo Antelopes to Mt. Kenya.  Check out the Bongo Project link for more information.
