Edmund J. Grant, Jr. county government under the direction of the Board of Chosen Freeholders. He directs a staff of management, professional and administrative personnel and all related aspects of county operations. Ed Grant was hired as Director of Operations in May 2012. Prior to his current position, Grant was Cape May County’s Chief Financial Officer for 17 years. During his tenure as CFO, the County has maintained a high level of financial stability resulting in stable taxes, clean audits and one of the highest bond ratings. Grant also served as County Purchasing Agent from 1986 through 1994. In addition to county government, Grant served the citizens of Wildwood as mayor and council president from 1986 through 1994. Grant received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from New Hampshire College.
