Celebrate Long-Term Living! Americans are living longer and staying healthier than ever before. More and More people are remaining in their own homes and communities. During the month of May, we celebrate Older Americans Month. The reason being, to honor older Americans as a national treasure and to highlight the need for midlife and older persons to be prepared to live longer than previous generations. The Cape May County Department of Aging is proud to provide AOA sponsored programs to help older citizens. We encourage older persons to eat better and keep active.
