Mission statement: The role of the Cape May County Library is to provide for the informational and recreational reading needs of the County's citizens and visitors. To this end, the Library operates eight branch libraries and a bookmobile service with stops throughout the County. Telephone and in-person reference services are also available.

The Library offers free filtered Internet access at all branch locations. In addition, a growing number of electronic and full-text magazine databases are available in the Library and online through our Library web page. Information on Library programs (for Children, Young Adults and Adults), policies and services is also available on the Library web page.

Cape May County Library Commission Regular Meetings, 2009: All meetings are open to the public and will take place at 1:30 PM in the Board Room of the Cape May County Library located at 30 Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House, NJ.

Meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of each month as follows: January 16th,February 20th; March 19th; April 16th; May 21th; June 18th; July 16th; August 20th; September 17th; October 15th; November 19th, December 17th.
