Department Mission Statement:
To maintain County buildings and grounds in a manner that provides a clean, healthy environment for workers and the public, using the most effective and efficient means possible.

Responsibilities:
Maintain over one hundred County buildings and over two hundred and fifty acres of County land.  We have assumed the grounds keeping duties of the Special Services School District since the summer of 2002.  

Divisions:
The Department has over one hundred full time and part time employees, providing a full range of  facilities management services. The Department is organized into five functioning areas; Administration, Construction, Mechanical, Services and Nursing.
