The Cape May County Clerk's Election Section receives and files nominating petitions for candidates for county offices and direct nomination petitions for independent candidates for municipal offices, distributes and assists in filing New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission Reports http://www.elec.state.nj.us, prepares sample ballots and voting machine ballots for the 128 voting districts in Cape May County and certifies the election results upon completion of the canvass of the vote.

Registered Voter Lists: Lists of the county's registered voters are available for bona fide political purposes.
