By comparing past occurrence to future possibilities this office develops innovative ways of controlling losses and stretching public dollars. Through communication, education, training and practice, workplace injuries are reduced, property is protected and financial resources are safeguarded.

The County recognizes that accident prevention, productivity and quality of services go hand in hand and that safety is an integral part of all activities. All County employees, regardless of the capacity in which they function, assume a responsibility for safety consciousness.
