CEED (Cancer Education and Early Detection) Program
About...
The CEED Program is a Cancer screening program utilizing funds from the CDC, Breast and Cervical Cancer Initiative, The NJ Department of Health and Senior Services, and the Cape May County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
Program Services
- Breast Exam and Mammogram referral
- Pelvic Exam and Pap test
- PSA blood test and Prostate Exam by Urologist
- Stool test for Colorectal Cancer
Who Is The Program For?
The Cancer Education and Early Detection Program provides cancer screenings to Cape May County residents who have no health insurance coverage nor Medicaid nor Medicare. There are some financial limitations. CEED screens women ages 40-64 and men 50-64. African American males are screened beginning at age 40.

Cost
No charge for eligible participants.
Location
The CEED Program is located at Cape May County Department of Health. The Health Department is located in the Crest Haven Complex at Exit 11 on the G.S. Parkway.
Hours
The Cancer Education and Early Detection Program has a Tuesday afternoon clinic and optional Monday morning clinic for breast and cervical cancer screenings.
Prostate Cancer screening clinics for Men are held on one Friday afternoon from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm every month.
